Depending on the scale of your project, you may work with a lead designer or a design team. It’s our way of ensuring that the conceptual process covers all bases in projects large or small. We can provide floor plans, elevation drawings, section detailing, and 3D renderings — giving a comprehensive visual of what your home will look like long before construction starts, and the sod is turned.
Our team includes Building Code Identification Number (BCIN) professionals. This means we can create designs, develop permit drawings, and submit building permits on your behalf.

Meet our Architectural Designers
Peter Valiquet
Peter is a Technologist and Registered Designer with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. He has BCIN qualifications for Large Buildings and an extensive understanding of the Ontario Building Code. After graduating from Algonquin College, he worked for several exclusive residential firms in Ottawa applying his specialized skills on a wide variety of Architectural Design projects. Peter, now a principal in his own company, provides Architectural Design services throughout Ontario and Quebec. He has worked in many aspects of architecture, interior design, and construction, applying his vast knowledge to each project, developing drawings that are highly detailed, specifically designed, and easy to comprehend. Peter is always expanding on his experience giving him the ability to step out in traditional and contemporary realities.
Brian Levesque
After studying Interior Design at Algonquin College, Brian has worked with Architects in the Ottawa area, and consulting independently in Ottawa, the Ottawa Valley, Kingston, Calgary and Toronto over the years. His diversified and comprehensive background in residential and recreational-home renovations has fulfilled client expectations by providing them with exceptional design and project management. Now at Design Valley, Brian brings his unique integration of interior and structural design to the fold. Brian’s attention to detail and discerning eye has a way of taking complex elements and making them easy to interpret during Design Development and ease of implementation throughout Construction.
